Michelle has Ovarian Germ Cell Cancer.
Being the most rare form of ovarian cancer,
it usually affects young women in their early 20's.
These cancerous cells begin to form in the egg cells of the ovary and form tumors.
Ovarian germ cell cancer is often very difficult to find or diagnose early because there are not many symptoms. The most common is swelling in the abdomen.
This particular form of cancer is proven 90% curable with chemotherapy.
